WHAT IS THE AWL?
AWL an American freestyle wrestling organization based in Palm Springs, California and owned and operated by WEB Productions. It plans to be the largest freestyle wrestling promotion in the nation and will feature many top-ranked wrestlers of the sport. Based in the United States, the AWL will produce events nationwide that showcase 10 weight divisions and abide by the Unified Rules of American Wrestling.
On Nov 30, 20 of the top free style wrestlers
in the USA met in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. 10 Wayne classes were represented by 2 teams. Each team was headed by a team captain, David Taylor (Team Taylor) and Kyle Dake, (team Dake). The 2 teams when head to head
competing for prize money to totaled up to $100,000. In the end Team Taylor came out ahead, beating Team Dake 7-3.

THE AWL MISSION STATEMENT
To provide a platform for post collegiate Wrestlers and other athletes to continue to train and compete while at the same time earning adequate income to allowing them to pursue their goals of becoming World and Olympic Champions or to pursue competition in UFC.
The Platform will consist of a professional league (already Named "AWL") comprised of 4 to 8 teams headquartered in and throughout hotbed wrestling areas in the USA. Each team will be purchased at a price to be determined and will compete with each other for a league championship. Each team owner will select their team members and compensate them with a base salary agreed upon by the League's Board of Directors.
The League will be owned in part by the Founders and each individual Team Owner. All revenue, and expenses to operate the League and the events will be shared and divided in accordance with a pre-set formula that will be designed to maximize profitability while at the same time enhance the growth of the league for the athletes and their fans.
